Dancing Marlin hosted its first Chef’s Menu Dinner of the year – “The Lagunitas Beer Dinner” – on February 4, 2015.  A big THANK YOU goes out to Paul Romano – beer aficionado extraordinaire – who represented Lagunitas Brewing Company at our six-course culinary-beer pairing event.  Our guests were seated at the popular Dancing Marlin Kitchen Table where Paul and the Dancing Marlin culinary team entertained and educated everyone with an interactive course-by-course description of featured menu and beer items.   Guests were treated to these fabulous food and beer combinations: 1st Course: Belly & Pate Crisp pork belly, house made pork pate, pistachios, charred Vidalia onions – accompanied by Lagunitas “Daytime Ale” 2nd Course: Grilled Oysters Penn Cove oysters, nduja butter, cilantro foam, candied lemon zest – accompanied by Lagunitas “IPA” 3rd Course: Grilled Trumpet Mushrooms Fried pickled garlic, frisee & sorrel greens, port wine & rosemary infused cherries – accompanied by Lagunitas “Little Sumpin “ 4th Course: “Fish Sticks” Crispy fried white anchovies, smelt & mackerel, malt vinegar aioli – accompanied by Lagunitas “ Pils” 5th Course: Goat Taco Goat “Barbacoa” style, pickled onions, charred tomatillos, cilantro, puffy taco , lime crema – accompanied by Lagunitas “Hairy Eyeball” 6th Course: Corn Bread Pudding Candied bacon, whipped buttermilk cream, blackberry compote, Brown Shugga caramel – accompanied by Lagunitas “Brown Shugga”
