We are proud to be a member of the Frankfort, Illinois community and we are thankful for the opportunity to showcase the village’s charm during the WGN Morning News Around Town Frankfort segment we helped coordinate. We shared a few of our favorite Frankfort businesses with WGN’s Ana Belaval who’s visiting them on Black Friday! Look out for Dancing Marlin around 9:45 a.m. on WGN Friday morning. The family owned farm also offers a free seedling to plant in your yard, family friendly onsite activities including free hay rides and a warming house where families can gather by the fireplace and enjoy free cookies, coffee and juice. More must-see Frankfort businesses  include: All Small Miniatures, a rare shop that offers one of the largest selections of collector items, miniatures, dollhouses, furniture, dollhouse kits and building supplies; Cottage Creations, a shop with an eclectic mix of gift and home decor accent items; Old Plank Trail Tavern, a building that has been around since 1850 and has since become a tavern in 2001 with the help of Pam and her husband Bruce; Pickwick Society Tearoom, a tearoom that was founded in 2004 and is based on the novel Little Women and menu items, freshly baked onsite, pay homage to book characters; Chew on This Dog Barkery, which provides baked treats for dogs with allergies to corn, wheat and soy.
