Dancing Marlin Celebrates Changing Seasons with New Seasonal Menu & “A Taste of Italy” Chef’s Dinner | Chicago South Suburbs Restaurant    Warm up this holiday season with our new seasonal cocktails! What better way to transition into the winter season than by indulging in our new seasonally inspired tasting menu and our monthly Chef’s Dinner Series “A Taste of Italy”! We’re incorporating the changing seasons into our new shared plates, which include:

Kung Pao Poppers, panko breaded, szechuan sausage, sushi rice, red pepper gelee, honey sauce, beer braised peanuts, $8;  Duck Tacos, smoked duck, apple gastrique, kimchi, $9;  daily “Off the Hook” Tacos, featuring today’s fresh catch in a delicious taco, 2 for $9; Beet Sliders, grilled golden beets, pickled beet marmalade, blue cheese & honey, 2 for $9; Burger Royale Sliders, dry aged beef burger, house bacon, piquillo pepper, quail egg, aoli, 2 for $11; and Red Grapes Flatbread, balsamic marinated red grapes, gorgonzola, walnuts, caramelized onions, arugula, $10. Dancing Marlin now offers an expanded drink menu with new beer, tap wines, and after-dinner spirit selections to round out your meal. New seasonal cocktails include a Rum & Rye Old Fashioned, High West double rye, Denizen rum, Sorel liqueur, Bittermens orange, house made demerara syrup, orange zest, $8.50; and the Scorpion, Denizen rum, CB brandy, orange Curacao, fresh squeezed orange & lemon juice, orgeat syrup, $8.50. Monthly Chef’s Dinner: “A Taste of Italy”  Mangia! Experience the changing seasons during Dancing Marlin’s exclusive seven course chef’s dinner on Wednesday, November 19, at 6:30 p.m. Patrons will be taken on an interactive course-by-course journey into Italian cuisine, made possible by Dancing Marlin’s culinary leaders.


Courses include: Crudo, Madei snapper, smoked oil, lemon, Calabrian chilis; Cozze con Fagioli, mussels, cannellini beans, San Marzano tomatoes, garlic; Polpo Carpaccio, octopus carpaccio, olive oil, fennel, arugula, lemon; Proscuitto ala Parma, San Daniele prosciutto, shaved Parmigiano Reggiano, roma tomatoes, basil; Ravioli con Paolo, house made, wild mushroom ravioli, prosecco & mornay sauce; Osso Buco, slow roasted veal shank, gremolata, risotto; Cassata Cake, ricotta, chocolate, candied orange, pound cake.
