The Dancing Marlin team recently attended the National Restaurant Association Show in downtown Chicago to search for opportunities to improve upon your experience at our restaurant. We spent hours walking up and down the bustling aisles filled with massive displays and engaging exhibits. We researched new technologies, trends, and discussed the current restaurant climate with vendors – all with the goal of translating what we learned into actionable items intended to enhance your overall Dancing Marlin experience.
We have embraced iPads and innovative software designed to be used in both our kitchen, and at your table, thus creating a more efficient operation, and an even better experience for our loyal patrons.
At the NRA Show, we met with local purveyors to explore new and exciting mainland menu items as a compliment to our substantial fresh Hawaiian seafood selections. Offering patrons the freshest sustainable seafood, and locally sourced ingredients when available, is the backbone of our operation. It is important to us as a company, and an integral component of our core philosophy, that we do everything we can when it comes to supporting sustainability. We want our efforts to be green, and friendly to our environment. The NRA Show provided us with a glimpse into the future of sustainable seafood methods and equipment, which we hope to integrate into our business so we can continuously provide you with an ethical, authentic dining experience.
Dancing Marlin is proud to provide patrons with cutting edge wine & hand crafted cocktail programs featuring beverages guests will not see at every restaurant. We are excited to be the first South Suburban Chicagoland restaurant to feature a perfectly chilled, carbonated Prosecco on tap!
By the end of the National Restaurant Association Show, we walked over 9-miles and walked away with ideas that will only help us grow, evolve and continue to provide you with the best customer service, freshest seafood, and the finest wine and cocktails!
